Family Therapy

Family therapy is useful, particularly when the whole unit is struggling to find connection with each other. When a family is having a hard time coping, or resolving conflict, and not connecting, each member suffers individually. The hope through family therapy is to understand one another better, and to find healthier ways of functioning as a unit. Sometimes, family therapy is everything that is needed, while other times, it is useful alongside individual therapy or couples work.

In truth, a family is what you make it. It is made strong, not by number of heads counted at the dinner table, but by the rituals you help family members create, by the memories you share, by the commitment of time, caring, and love you show to one another, and by the hopes for the future you have as individuals and as a unit.
